There was a single gas station in cities across Alameda County selling midgrade gas at the lowest price of $4.07 per gallon in the week ending Aug. 3, according to customer reports submitted to GasBuddy.com.
The average reported cost of midgrade gas in cities within Alameda County was $4.86 per gallon.
Of the 354 reported gas stations in cities within Alameda County, 191 offer midgrade gas.
The $4.75 average reported price of midgrade gas in California was unchanged from the previous week.
Drivers across the U.S. have faced a rollercoaster of gas prices in recent months and years. Though the cost of a gallon of gas is dropping, experts suggest they may rise to $4 before the end of 2024.
