Of the 23,566 people living in Ashland CDP in 2020, 54 percent (12,729) were women and 46 percent (10,837) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the Central Alameda News.

Females 18 and over outnumbered males in the same age group by 947. In the 65 and over age range, there were 1,471 females and 933 males.
