On Saturday, Feb. 1, former Mt. Eden High School standout Luda Gumataotao’s current college team, the Cal State East Bay Pioneers, won 5-2 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Colorado Christian Cougars.

The game took place at OC Great Park. This was their first matchup against the Cougars this season.

The Pioneers’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, Feb. 2 at 9 a.m. at OC Great Park against Hawaii–Hilo Vulcans.
