On Saturday, May 17, former San Leandro High School standout Jimmy Garcia’s current collegiate team the Cal State Monterey Bay Otters won 6-4 against the Westmont Warriors in the NCAA Division II Baseball Championship.

The game took place at Russell Carr Field at 2:15 p.m. and was the third matchup against the Westmont Warriors in the tournament.

The Cal State Monterey Bay Otters’ next game will take place on Thursday, May 22 at 5 p.m. at Elmore W. Vail Field.
