On Friday, Jan. 31, former Arroyo High School standout Celeste Casillas’ current college team, the Florida Tech Panthers, won 6-5 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Lubbock Christian Lady Chaparrals.

The game took place at Gulf Shores Sportsplex. This was their first matchup against the Lady Chaparrals this season.

The Tech Panthers’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 1 at 10:30 a.m. at Gulf Shores Sportsplex against North Georgia Nighthawks.
